On Thursday September 1, you won't need a PhD to appreciate an evening of fascinating physics. Aspen Center for Physics physicist Ahmed Almheiri will be at Explore to talk about the memoir of his mentor and dear friend, theoretical physicist Joseph Polchinski, renowned for his work on string theory. Dr. Almheiri will be interviewed by Explore's Jeff Bernstein, a former high school physics teacher who will make sure the physics makes sense to the layperson.
