Welcome to Explore Booksellers

Located in the Brown and White Victorian at 221 East Main St. Aspen CO, 81611

Explore Booksellers, a favorite destination for visitors and locals alike, has been an institution in the Aspen community for nearly 40 years. Our buyers curate a large collection of books ranging widely in subject matter, all of which are located charmingly in various nooks and crannies of a historic Victorian home. We've dedicated one entire room in the house to children's literature, and also feature current titles in literary fiction, business, history, self-help, art, young adult, travel and cooking, as well as numerous regional titles. Though the technology of the digital era has altered the book industry, we have been able to honor our literary roots, while also adapting to new formats. We enable our customers to support independent booksellers by offering Kobo eReaders in store, and thousands of eBook titles on our website: www.explorebooksellers.com . We also offer a fantastic array of book-related items such as cards, journals, and gifts. In addition, Explore Booksellers hosts many exciting book events with local and visiting authors, offering the community a chance to hear fascinating talks and have a book signed as well!  We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to the Aspen Community, as well as the Roaring Fork Valley, for its years of faithful support. We also thank our loyal visitors who support Explore Booksellers each time they visit Aspen. We feel fortunate to be embraced by such a wonderful and international group of book-lovers.  Remember, "Wherever you are in the world, it’s always good to Explore."
